Alfreda Skutt

Alfreda (Short) Skutt, 76 of Logan, WV departed this life Friday, April 23rd, 2021 at Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born on June 5th, 1944 in Welch, WV. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Short; one son, Houston Marcum; one daughter, Darlene Carol Marcum; two brothers, Leonard and Doc Short; one sister, Judy Short; first husband, John H. Marcum; and second husband, Lansing Skutt.

Those left to cherish her loving memory includes two sons, Jeffrey Marcum of South Carolina and John V. Marcum of Sarah Ann, WV; two daughters, Viola (John) Moses of California and Debbie Williams of Florida; thirteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, April 28th, 2021 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor CD Wolford officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill, WV. Pallbearers will include family and friends. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
