Alice "JoAnn" Clark

ALICE “JOANN” (FAULDER) CLARK, 65, of Logan, WV, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Cabell Huntington Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.  JoAnn was born April 16, 1952 in Pleasant Township, Ohio, a daughter of the late Harold LeVern and Dorothy Irene Faulder. She worked at Wilson Cleaners in Logan, WV for over 30 years, alongside her dear friends, Betty Ellis and Nancy Johnson, until it closed in January of 2016. She was passionate about her faith and dearly loved her church family at Crawley Creek Christian Center.  She is survived by three beloved children, Roger (Susan) Clark, Angela (Jimmy) Adkins, and Crystal (David) Gore, all of Logan, WV; four grandchildren, Justin Clark, Grayson and Hillary Gore and, Jennifer (Sheldon) Vance; one great-grandchild, Melody Vance; six siblings, Donny (Betty) Faulder, Marsha Faulder, Rose Ann Faulder, Dennis Faulder, Sheila Buck, and Franky Faulder; and a host of nieces, nephews and long-time friends. In addition to her parents, JoAnn was preceded in death by two brothers, Gene Faulder and Sonny Faulder; and one sister, Helen Stine. Pallbearers are Justin Clark, Jimmy Adkins, Brady McCleese, Brandon Hodges, Tommy Kinser, and John Toth.   Honorary pallbearers are Mike Evans, Greg Evans, Nick Adams, and Vernon Johnson. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Betty Adkins, Lori and Amber McCleese, Karen Toth, and all family and friends who assisted with her care.  To celebrate her life, her brother Donny will conduct a service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 26 at Collins Funeral Home in Switzer. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, August 25. 2017.
