Anna Lou Evans

Anna Lou Evans, 96 of Switzer, West Virginia went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 2,2018 at Dignity Hospice House in Chapmanville. Anna was born on July 9, 1921 in Buchanan, Kentucky to the late Willard and Willabelle Poole. She was preceded in death by her husband Riley B. Evans, her parents, stepmother Opal Poole, one brother Willard Poole, four sisters Irma Pack, Jenny Browning, Jessie Barclay, Pauline Bays, one son-in-law Micky Daniels and one grandson Paul Lee Evans Jr. Her survivors include two brothers; James (Carolyn) Poole and Done Poole of Columbus, OH, one daughter; Judy Daniels of Lowmansville, KY, one son Paul (Debbie) Evans of Omar, WV, two grandsons Mike (Melissa) Daniels of Lowmansville, KY, Kenny (Polly) Evans of Danville, WV, four great-grandchildren; Kimberly Evans, Riley Evans, Mykayla Daniels, Mackinley Daniels, and other family and friends. She also has a great-great granddaughter Makenna Joy who is due this month and one special sister-in-law Edith Evans. She made her residence with her son Paul and family 11 years ago. She was a long-life member of Switzer Church of God; she enjoyed going to church and doing work for the Lord. She had one special caregiver Shannon Sheppard. The family would like to thank Dr. Radha, Dr. Mullah, Dr. Harvey, Dr. Stollings, Logan Regional Medical Center, and Dignity Hospice House for all their love and care. Service will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Skeens officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will begin two hours prior to the service.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.
