Belva Browning

Belva (Thompson) Browning, 74 of Wilkinson, WV departed this life Wednesday,

August 19th, 2020 in Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born on July 30th ,

1946 in Holden, WV to the late John I. Thompson and Lena (Blankenship)

Thompson. In addition her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters,

Alice Ooten, Mary Herring, Sue Ooten, Stella Vance, Almeda Joe Crone; five

brothers, Kendall Thompson, Loyld Thompson, James Thompson, Russell

Thompson, and Jimmy Thompson.

Those left to cherish her loving memory includes two sons, Derek Thompson of

North Carolina and Mark Browning of Rossmore, WV; one daughter, Sherry Settle

of Florida; two brothers, David Thompson of Virginia and John Thompson of

Point Pleasant, WV; two sisters, Freda Santos of Chauncey, WV and Diana Setser

of Rossmore, WV; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, August 22nd, 2020 at Collins

Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Shane Dennison officiating. Burial will follow

in Duncan Fork, WV. A visitation will be held a hour prior to the service.
