Bennie Salmons

Bennie Salmons, 69 of Lindside, WV departed this life on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at his residence. He was born August 2, 1947 at Baisden, WV to the late Walter and Vicie Salmons. He was a disabled veteran. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, Clifton “Poose” Salmons; two sisters, Ethel Salmons and Peggy Salmons. Those left to cherish his memories are two sons, Bennie (Kandi) Salmons Jr. and Joe Lester; one daughter, Amanda (Salmons) Laws; seven brothers, Era (Eleanor) Salmons, Arthur (Rose) Salmons, James (Lana) Salmons, Ronald Salmons, Steve (Patty) Salmons, Terry (Carmella) Salmons, Walter (Jenny) Salmons; one sister, Abigail (Dale) Bailey; one special friend, Kimberley Blankenship; one special niece, Glenda Montenegro; six loving grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 4:00PM at New Baisden Community Church with Pastor Dale Baisden and Pastor Damon Murphy officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will follow at Lester Cemetery in Gilbert Creek, WV.
