Bessie Cline

Bessie Day Cline, 80, of White Sulphur Springs, WV departed this life Friday, October 22nd, 2021, at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg, WV. She was born on June 21st, 1941, in War Eagle, WV to the late George and Pearl (Moore) Gillman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-one years, Larry Dale Cline; two sisters, Ruth Lester, and Gay McGraw; and one brother, William “Billy” Gillman.

Those left to cherish her loving memory includes four daughters, Teresa (Herman) Trent of Gilbert Creek, WV, Lynn (Richard) Waid of White Sulphur Springs, WV, Karen (Russell) Mounts of War Eagle, WV, and Melissa (John Jr.) Manuel of Gilbert Creek, WV; one sister, Audrey Lester of Detroit, MI; four grandchildren, Timothy (Amber) Bailey, Samantha (Jason) Lewis, Natalie Manuel, and Johnathan Manuel; great grandchild, Greyson Lewis; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 27th, 2021, at Full Gospel Church of God at Baisden, WV with Pastor Jonas Trent and Pastor Diamond Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Star Hollow Cemetery at War Eagle, WV. Pallbearers will include Richard Waid, Timmy Bailey, John Manuel Jr., Johnathan Manuel, Ed Lester, and Jason Lewis.

A visitation will be held a hour prior to the funeral service.
