Bobby Lee "Rusty" Tackett, Jr.

Bobby Lee “Rusty” Tackett, Jr. 64 of Frederick, MD (formerly of Switzer, WV) departed this life on January 11th, 2024, at his residence. He was born on July 13th, 1959, in Logan, WV and was the son of the late Bobby Lee and Shirley Marie (Keaton) Tackett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Roy and Olena Keaton; and paternal grandparents, Clyde and Dean Tackett.

Rusty was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend. He worked in construction for many years and was a very hard worker. He was a one of a kind and always made everyone laugh. He was great with children and loved his Dallas Cowboys. He is loved by many and will be terribly missed.

Those left to cherish his loving memory includes his brother, Rick (Jill) Tackett; sister, Tammy (Steve) Price; nephews, Ricky Lee Tackett, Derek Tackett, Devin Cantrell, Keagen Cantrell, Steve Price II, and Quenten Price; nieces, Tiffany Cantrell, Natalie Cantrell, Tracy Price, Rachel Price, Caitlyn Price, and Stephanie Price; step mother, Donna Browning; step siblings, Kim (Vince) Orso, Greg Browning, and Joey (Kelly) Browning; special friends, Douglas Weddle, Sarah (Dylan) Riffle, and Hunter Riffle.

In honoring his wishes, he will be cremated.

Friends may gather with the family from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Thursday, January 18th, 2024, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with a memorial service starting at 4:00 pm with Uncle John Tackett officiating.
