Brenda Sue Johnson

Brenda Sue (Sias) Johnson, 72, of Chauncey went home to be with the Lord on October 31, 2017 in Dignity Hospice of Chapmanville. She was born on October 15, 1945 at Lincoln, WV to the late Edgar Sias and Mary Crum.  She was a faithful member and servant of the Walnut Grove F.W.B. Church where she was also a Sunday school teacher for 45 years.  She was a Candy Striper at Logan General for many years and volunteered for the Auxiliary at Logan Regional Medical Center. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandparents, and her husband James Clifford “Jimmy” Johnson.  A one day service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 3, 2017 with visitation starting at noon with Pastor Charlie Blankenship officiating. She will be carried to her final resting place at Highland Memory Gardens by her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to an organization of your choice; Walnut Grove F.W.B Church, Beth Haven Christian School, or Dignity Hospice of Chapmanville.
