Charles "Ed" Baldwin

Charles Edison Baldwin “Ed”, 89 went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at Trinity Healthcare Services of Logan, WV. He was born on October 8, 1929 in Blair, WV to the late Isral Baldwin and Elizabeth Porter. He was retired from the Pepsi Company. He sung with many gospel groups, the last group being the “Revelators.” When he was able, he attended Monahill Memorial Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife: Marilyn (Evans) Baldwin, one daughter: Karen Sue Baldwin, one son: Eugene Baldwin, and ten siblings.

 Those left to cherish his loving memory includes his wife: Sue (Maynard) Baldwin, one son: Kim (Beverly) Baldwin, four grandchildren: Milton Todd Johnson, Jared (Tori) Baldwin, Brittany Counts, Brenna (Michael) Marcum, and seven great-grandchildren: Krystyn (Joseph) Lucas, Phadra, Jagger, Jameson, Taytum, Torren Baldwin, Hannah and Hollie Marcum. A service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, December 28, 2018 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joseph Vance and Pastor Eric “Tubby” Rakes officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pecks Mill, WV. He will be carried to his final resting place by family and friends. A visitation will be held Thursday, December 27, 2018 also at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 PM. Collins Funeral Home Inc. of Switzer, WV is assisting the Baldwin family with arrangements.
