Charles Boatwright

Charles "Tiny" Boatwright Sr. 64 of Logan, WV departed this life Wednesday, Jan 14, 2015. He was born March  21, 1950.  "Boatwright" was a graduate of Logan High School. He also served in the Navy. He was preceded in death by his mother Ernestine Burns and Grandfather James Boatwright Sr. Those left to cherish his memories is his father, Charles W Boatwright of KS, MO, his wife of 21 years, Bobbie Jean (West) Boatwright of Logan, WV,  7 sisters; Eileen Sills  KS, MO, Alice Montgomery Knoxville, TN, Debora L. Boatwright KS, MO,  Danielle, Darlene and Deborah all of KS, MO, Charlene of Atlanta, GA, 4 brothers; Michael, Emil, Chuck, and Mark of KS, MO, 2 sons; Charles (Sheree) Boatwright of Gainsville, GA, Cedric Reeves of Gainsville, GA  2 step-sons; Jesse Norman of NC, Rufus Norman of Huntington, WV, 2 daughters;  Denise and Erica Boatwright both of Logan, WV, 1 step daughter;  Emily Sharee (Kenneth) Sparks of Logan, WV. "Boatwright" loved his 12 grandkids, Romeo, Tryce, Destiny, Emily, Kalisha, Kayla, Little Charles, Raheem, Hakeem, Chancely, Kareem, Keishman, 2 great grand kids; Hayden and Demonte.  Additional survivors include a host of uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. "Boatwright" was loved by all in the community and many knew him as sales person for Kirby. He had a lot of dear friends who knew him as a very funny person with a heart of gold. He loved the outdoors, which fishing was very dear to him.  He enjoyed Football and Basketball and often attended the local school games.  If you was around him then you were surely to laugh, because he always had a positive attitude about life.  He will be missed by all.Services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday January 17, 2015 at the Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. James H. Mosley Jr. officiating.
