Charles Danny Hamaker

Charles Danny Hamaker, 72 of Omar passed away Friday, June 02, 2017 at his residence. He was born July 16, 1944 at Louisville Kentucky to the late Albert Hamaker and Lucille Alzana Cox. Danny was a retired coalminer and a member of New Life Freewill Baptist Church. Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife Opal (Meade) Hamaker, one son, Charles D. (Erica) Hamaker Jr. Of Columbus OH; two daughters, Michelle Tamberollo of Houston Texas, and Danika (Jason) Durham of Gadsden AL: One sister, Patricia (Harry) Harris of Columbus OH; a host of loving grandchildren and great grandchildren and, many wonderful nieces and nephews: and his faithful dog and companion piper. The family would like to say thank you to Dr. Sathish, Dr. Radha, L.E.A.S.A, and the Logan Regional Medical center Third floor rehab. Visitation will be Sunday June 4, 2017 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home with Funeral services Monday June 5, 2017 at 11:00 am at Collins Funeral Home.
