Daniel Neace Sr.

Daniel Neace Sr., 81 of Switzer went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Saint Francis Hospital in Charleston, WV. He was born December 26, 1936 to the late Ab Neace and Margaret (Frye) Neace in Logan, WV. He was a retired coal miner. He was also a faithful deacon and member at Walnut Groove Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years; Brenda Joyce (Ferguson) Neace, four sisters and one brother. Those left to cherish his loving memory include two sons; Daniel (Leslie) Neace Jr. of Switzer and Jonathan Edward (Marlene) Neace of Henlawson, two brothers; Joe (Christine) Neace of Florida and Elvin Neace of Chauncey, ten grandkids; Jeremy, Amanda, Nathan, Brandon, Katie, Kevin, Darian, Danielle, Billy, Russell, and twenty-five great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Friday, November 9, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Walnut Grove Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Charlie Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, he will be carried to his final resting place by family and friends. A visitation will be held Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 6-9 PM also at the church. Collins Funeral Home of Switzer, WV is assisting the Neace family with arrangements.
