David Chase “Bub” Trammell, 21, of Peach Creek, WV, left his earthly home and began his eternal life on December 26th, 2023, suddenly and unexpectedly. David was born at CAMC Women’s & Children’s, on September 8th, 2002, and is the son of Richard “Rick” Trammell and Stephanie (Vance) Trammell. Such a kind, gentle, and humble soul taken to continue shining his light throughout Heaven.
David was a graduate of Logan High School, Class of 2021. His intelligence and wisdom even at young ages, would often shine through although he would bashfully try to hide it. Throughout his life, David participated in multiple sports: basketball, football, and wrestling – wrestling being his favorite. He unquestionably excelled at wrestling and had gained lifelong friends through his time in sports. He attended Marshall University for a small amount of time prior to coming back home to begin to work and start to build his life. David currently worked for Superior Pocahontas in construction, thoroughly enjoying his job and co-workers, making sure to dedicate his best self to excel during work.
There was not a person that David encountered that did not like him. He loved everyone so selflessly with his heart of gold. He often tried (and succeeded) at trying to make a person smile with his wittiness, share and create optimistic views for others even through his own challenges, and was always able to display his compassion no matter the situation. David was grateful for life in general, he found peace and solace in things people often could not. He loved wrestling, video games, anime, taking in nature’s beauty, and his family and friends.
Those who are left to cherish David’s memories are, his parents: Richard “Rick” Trammell, and Stephanie (Vance) Trammell; his siblings: Ashley Wilson, Brandon Wilson, Taylor (Mark Butcher) Napier, Chelsea (Dylan) Adkins, and little sister, Rikki Trammell. He is also survived by his niece, who he cherished deeply and who lit up his world, Madelyn Trammell; Grandmother: Jane Trammell; A host of aunts and uncles: Shelia Trammell, Renee Wall, Carla (Christopher) Flanagan, and Mandy (Andy) Booth; Numerous cousins: James Hiroskey, Lora Hiroskey, Skyla Hiroskey-Beggs, Sierra Hiroskey-Anderson, Wesley Wall, Victoria Wall, Alexis Adkins, and Caden Dotson; Special families: The Jobo’s and The Mileto’s; along with a host of beloved family and friends.
David was preceded in death and greeted at Heaven’s gate by, his grandfathers: Richard Trammell, and David Vance; grandmother: Brenda “Sue” Vance.
