David Allen Lovejoy

David Allen Lovejoy, 50, of Omar passed away Monday November 30, 2020 at his home. He was born September 8th, 1970 at Guyan Valley Hospital, the son of Frank and Mary Mesko, of Omar.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Nancy Jane White, and five uncles and one aunt.  David was a disabled coal miner. He loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. 

Those left to cherish his memory includes his two children that he loved with all his heart, Jayla (Bo) Cline of Whitman, WV and Austin Lovejoy of McConnell, WV; his parents, Frank and Mary Mesko of Cow Creek, WV; his siblings Cynthia (James) Cantrell of Cow Creek, WV and Katherine (John) Workman of Chauncey, WV; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 5th, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Collins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the family cemetery at Chauncey, WV. Collins Funeral Home Inc. of Switzer, WV is in charge of arrangements.
