Delbert Ray Hughes

Delbert Ray Hughes 63, of Cow Creek, departed this life Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at his residence.  He was born in Logan, November 6, 1953 to Ronald Hughes and the Late Evelene Mae  (Pennington) Hughes. Delbert was a disabled coal miner and  was  of the Freewill Baptist Faith.  In addition to his Mother, he is preceded in death by one Brother; Gregory Lee Hughes.  Those left to cherish his memories are his Father; Ronald Hughes, one Son; Ryan Hughes of Delbarton, one Daughter; Shana Rena Hughes of Delbarton, one Brother; Edwin Hughes, two Sisters; Brenda (Al) Solomon of Georgia, ad Glenna (Greg) Mayhorn of Virginia.  A graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Highland Memory Gardens with Pastor Charlie Blankenship officiating.  Visitation will be from 6 to 9 PM Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel in Switzer.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.  Collins Funeral Home of Switzer is in charge of the arrangements.  Condolences may be left @ ww.collinsfuneralhomewv.com
