Donald Ray Vance

 Donald Ray Vance 85, of Wilkinson, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in Huntington Health and Rehab. He was born on January 4, 1932 in Monaville, WV to the Late Bryan and Irene (Frye) Vance. He served in the United States Army, he was Self Employed and was a member of the Monahill Memorial Freewill Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one infant brother; David Vance and one sister; Ruth Mullins.  Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife: Inice Mae (Sadler) Vance of Wilkinson, three brothers; Bill (Beulah) Vance of Whitman, Jack (Charlotte) Vance Of Warrenton, Virginia and Danny (Barbara Jean) Vance of Wilkinson, and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. A special “thank you” to Donald’s nephew, Lee Graham, for his dedicated love and support during Donald’s extended illness.     A one-day service will begin @ 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 06, 2017 at The Monahill Memorial Freewill Baptist Church, with Rev. Joseph Vance and Brother Bill Wooten officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery @ Pecks Mill.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. at the Church.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.  Collins Funeral Home of Switzer will be overseeing the arrangements.  Condolences may be left @ www.collinsfuneralhomewv.com./
