Douglas Clark

Douglas Clark 69 of Omar, departed this life Saturday, October 14, 2017 in Logan Regional Medical Center.  He was born September 02, 1948 in Sarah Ann to the Late Chester and Lula Mae (Bell) Clark. In addition to his parents   he is preceded in death by his brother Justin Clark, Special Uncle Charlie Clark, two Brother-in-laws; Timothy "Timbo" Woodruff and Richard Curry Sister-In-law; Joan Clark and Aunts; Fern, Beulah Murphy, Sarah Clark and Goldie Clark.  He is survived by; his Wife of 43 years Rosa (Vance) Clark of Omar,  three Children; Melinda (Greg) Ellis of Omar, WV Jennifer (Mike) Day of Oceana, WV and Doug (Teresa) Clark of Gilbert, eight Grandchildren; Kayla (Josh) Adkins, Tonya (Dylan) Nunley, Taylor Ellis, Savannah Clark, Brayton Clark, Chase Ellis Cage Clark and MaKayla Dunbar, 6 Great-Grandchildren Aiden Carter, Riley Light, Blade Nunley, Abel Nunley, Eli Adkins and Peyton Burkey, Special Brother-in-Law Elbert Vance, Brothers; Darrell (Darlene) Clark, Lee (Janet) Clark, Roger (Gwen) Clark, Allen (Thelma) Clark, Sisters; Rita (Tom) Waller, Betty Mike) Eskelin, Eula (Richard) Curry, Glenda (Darrell) Bias and Kathy Woodruff and a Host of Nieces and Nephews.  Services will be 2:00 P.M.  Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Omar Community Church with Rev. Allen Clark and Brother Jimmy Meade officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6 to 9 P.M.  Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the Church.  Pallbearers will be Josh Adkins, J.D. Clark, Roger Clark Jr., Mike Day, Greg Elis, Mike Fleming, Zachary McKinney, Phillip Moore, Dylan Nunley and Larry Rogers.  Collins Funeral Home of Switzer will be overseeing arrangements.
