Eliza (Collins) Gore 78, of Chapmanville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at her residence. She was born February 17, 1938 in Chauncey to the late Cecil and Ocie (Blevins) Collins. She was a homemaker and a member of the Piney Community Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband; Donald Gore, four brothers; Floyd, Hubert, Areland Collins and Everett Blevins, one sister; Shirley Collins and one son; Donald Ray Gore. Those left to cherish her memories are one son; Russell (Sandy) Gore of Chapmanville, one daughter; Donnetta (Mike) Vance of Harts, five sisters; Eunice (Don) Lambert of Chapmanville, Barbara (Fred) Gore of Harts, Lorene Estrathers of Cow Creek, Virginia Fowler of Chapmanville, and Carol Sue Moore of Chapmanville, one daughter-in-law; Valerie Gore of Chapmanville, seven grandchildren; Michelle (Rook) Brumfield, Brandi (Herby) Bryant, Jala Gore, Lee Gore, Lori (Brad) Morrison, Trey Staggs, and Josie Meadows, eight; great-grandchildren, Hanna Brumfield, Graci Brumfield, Shelby Bryant, Colton Brumfield, Russell Shane Bryant, Austin Bryant, Piper Annabelle Morrison and Wyatt Bohannon Morrison. At 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 14, 2017 there will be a private family viewing at the Collins Funeral Home in Switzer. At 2:00 P.M. there will be a graveside service at Everett and Polly Browning Cemetery at Manns Knob with Pastor Kenny Kirk and Rev. Anthony Vance officiating.
