Freeda Perry, 97 of Switzer, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at her residence. She was born December 23, 1920 in Logan, WV to the late Charles M. Blevins and Rossella Hoosier. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband; Boyd J. Perry, two sisters; Almeda (Robert) Williams and Lydia Lilly, one brother; Franklin Eugene (Butter) Blevins, one step-sister; Betty Dillon and one daughter; Sheryl Deloris Tutis. Those left to cherish her memory include one son; Herald Dotson, grand-daughter; Christina Tutis (John) Browning of Switzer, great grand-son; Michael Chase Browning, one brother; Newton (Bud) Blevins of Bethel, OH, two step-brothers; Ernest Walls of Michigan and Delmer Walls of Columbus, OH, and one step-sister; Naomi Mendel Derringer of Harrodsburg, KY, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many of nieces and nephews. The family would also like to mention that she was very blessed to have Patricia Mullins and her helper Nikki Ellis as caregivers during her final year. In honoring her wishes, her body has been cremated. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Friday May 11, 2018 at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Bob Morris officiating. Collins Funeral Home of Switzer is overseeing the arrangements.
