Gary J Smith

Gary J. Smith 72, of Akron, OH formerly of Omar departed this life Saturday, January 14, 2017 in Summa Health System Hospital in Akron, OH.  He was born March 27, 1944 in Omar, WV to the Late Gordan and Effie (Dempsey) Smith.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one brother; Michael Lockhart.  He is survived by his caretakers, his niece and nephew Kathryn and James Lockhart.  Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens.
