Geraldine "Betty" Perry

Geraldine “Betty” (Blevins) Perry, 88 of Omar, WV departed this life Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born September 17, 1930 at Wheelwright, KY to the late Vina and Frank Blevins. Also preceding her in death was her husband of 48 years: Rev. Willis Perry, two sons: William Roger and David Gene, three brothers, one sister, one grandson: James Willis “Jamie” Barnette.

Those left to cherish her memory are three daughters: Betsy Perry of Hampden, WV, Ruby (Danny) Barnette of Omar, WV, Rose (Robert) Dorton of Manchester, Indiana, one grandson: Robbie Dorton, one great-grand-daughter: Autumn (Jackie) Floyd, one sister and one brother.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel in Switzer, WV followed by a funeral service starting at 2:00 PM. with Rev John Spears officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill, WV. She will be laid to rest beside her husband. Collins Funeral Home Inc. of Switzer, WV is assisting the Perry family with arrangements.
