Gilbert Brian Johnson

Gilbert Brian Johnson, 60 of Omar, WV departed this life on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at his residence. He was born on August 31, 1958 in Logan, WV to Gilbert and Jessie Johnson. Gilbert served in the U.S. Air Force. In addition to his mother, Gilbert was preceded in death by two brothers: Harold and Charles Johnson; and one sister Claudia Johnson.

Those left to cherish his memories includes his father: two daughters; Eise Johnson of Warner Robins, GA. and Anasa Johnson of Chesterfield, VA. two sisters; Andrea Campbell of Omar, WV and Sheila Bradsher of Rockville, MD; two grandsons: Richard Massey and Kenneth Henderson.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Monday, January 28, 2019 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held a hour prior. Burial will follow in Guyan Memory Gardens at Godby, WV. He will be carried to his final resting place by family and friends. Collins Funeral Home Inc. of Switzer, WV is assisting the Johnson family with arrangements.
