Gladys E Bailey

Gladys E. Adkins Bailey, 89, of Sanford, NC, formerly of Monaville, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 16, 2018 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born March 13, 1928 in Logan to the late Hiram and Sarah (Evans) Adkins. She was a Homemaker and a member of the 5&6 Holden Church. In addition to her parents her husband; Claude Bailey, One Son; Claude T. Bailey, two daughter-in-laws; Carolyn and Clara Bailey precede her in death. Those left to cherish her memories are two sons; Ralph B. Bailey and Oscar H. “Skip” Bailey, two daughters; Sarah (Jim) Welch, and Lisbeth “Libby” Fitch, one Daughter-In-Law; Bernice Bailey, 10 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren and 16 Great-Great Grandchildren. Service will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Light officiating. Visitation will Monday 2/19/2018 from 6 – 9 PM at Collins Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers will be her Grandsons. Burial will follow in at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
