Glenna Ellen Spurlock

Glenna Ellen (Deskins) Spurlock 88, of Switzer, departed this life Saturday, November 07, 2015 in Logan Regional Medical Center.  She was born March 11, 1927 in Sun Beam, WV to the late Earl and Evy (Taylor) Deskins.  She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents  she is preceded in death by her husband Truman Spurlock, one daughter; Mary Bryant, one step-son; Thomas McComas, one grandson; Christopher Bryant one brother; Carl Deskins and  one sister; Irene Hackney.  Survivors left to cherish her memories are four sons; Gregory (Lynn) Sexton of OH, David (Cindy) Sexton of AR, Jimmy Sexton and Gary Spurlock both of Switzer, three daughters; Rebecca Estep of Switzer, Connie (Darrell Perkins) Brown of Huntington and Terry (Lynn) Everly of GA, one step-daughter; Gaye McComas of Mellville one sister; Mable Johnson of OH, eighteen grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren and two great-great-great-grandchildren. Services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold McMillen Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the Funeral Home.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.
