Harry Edward Bass

Harry Edward Bass 62, of Price Bottom, departed this life Wednesday, August 17, 2016 in CAMC Memorial Division Hospital in Charleston, West Virginia.  He was born in Holden to the Late Eddie and Joyce (Donaldson) Bass Sr. He had been employed by the Logan County Board of Education in the Maintenance Department.  In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his grandparents and one brother; Walter Bass.  Those left to cherish his memories are his beloved wife; Martha (Bratcher) Bass of Price Bottom, one step-son; Douglas Bratcher of Logan, one step-daughter; Hope Marie Hill of TN, three brothers; Jesse (Lanie) Bass of MI, Kenneth Bass and Eddie Bass Jr. both of Holden, six sisters; Vern (Allen) Forest of OH, Sandy (Jeff) Moss and Kim Bass both of Charleston, WV,Jackie (Johnny) Richardson, Melissa Bass of Fl, Kathy Bass of Charleston, WV, eight grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.  Services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 29, 2016 at the Greater  Mt. Zion Baptist Church at Price Bottom.  Burial will follow in Guyan Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.  Collins Funeral Home of Switzer is in charge of the arrangements.  Condolences may be left @ www.collinsfuneralhomewv.com./
