James Pete Hensley, Sr.

James “Pete” Hensley Sr., 56 of Kermit WV passed away on Friday, March 27th, 2020 at his Residence. He was born on June 9, 1963 at ARH in Kentucky and was the Son of the late Samuel  D and Geraldine (Fouch) Hensley. He was preceded in death by his parents, (2) Brothers; Olliver and Daniel Hensley. (2) Sisters: Nioka Cline and Barbara Curry

Those left to cherish his loving memory includes his spouse, Kathy Hensley of Kermit , WV; two sons, Samuel “Whitney” Hensley of Williamson and James “Vanessa” Hensley of Chapmanville, Four Daughters; Virdilla Ooten of Leon, Victoria (Daniel) Grimmette of Dingess, Geraldine (Brian) Peggs of Leon and Elizabeth (Eric “Tubbo”) Curry of Henlawson, two Brothers; Alex (Mildred) Hensley of Mud Fork and Avery (Carrie) Hensley of Hillsboro OH, one Sister; Arlene Hensley, and 16 GrandChildren.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, April 4th, 2020 at The Old Regular Baptist Church at Tabitha at Mud Fork with the Elder Albert Cable officiating. Burial will follow in Hensley Family Cemetery at Pie. He will be carried to His final resting place by His family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 6-9 pm at the Old Regular Baptist Church on  April 3rd, 2020 .
