James "Jimbo" Jenkins

James “Jimbo” Jenkins, 66, of Pine Creek, WV went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, August 13th, 2024, at Logan Regional Medical Center in Logan, WV. He was born on April 7th, 1958, in Logan, WV and was the son of the late Bob Jenkins and Octaiva (Dillon) Gross. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepdad, Wilson Gross; daughter, Crystal Jenkins; uncle, Emzie “Dude” Jenkins; and stepsister, Kathy.

He enjoyed anything that had to do with cars. He had a ’69 Dodge Charger called “General Lee”. He worked for Winters Heating & Cooling, then went on to work for Paul Cook; worked for Mountain State Packing, Patterson Excavating, Logan Motorcycle Sales and Honda Shop as a certified mechanic and service manager. He truly was a jack of all trades.

Those left to cherish his loving memory includes the love of his life, Tina (Booth) Jenkins of forty-two years; son, Andrew (Manda) Booth; stepbrothers, Lonnie Gross, Rocky Gross, and James Gross; stepsister, Carolyn; grandchildren, John (Gabby) and Lydia (Braddley) Browning; two special friends, Todd Mitchem, and Sebert Browning; and a special cat, Lily Jenkins.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Morgan Wilburn for all of her help in his last days.

In honoring Jimbo’s wishes, he has been cremated.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm Monday, August 19th, 2024, at Pine Creek Freewill Baptist Church in Pine Creek, WV with Pastor John Hatfield officiating.
