James Ray Sexton, 62, of Switzer, WV departed from this life on Friday, July 14th, 2023. He was born on August 29th, 1960 and was the son of the late Howard Sexton and Glenna Spurlock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Bryant, and Frances White.
He worked for Refab, Robco Machine Shop, Fountain Place Security and Safeway in Virginia. He loved music, his friends, but most of all his animals; his love for animals was number one.
Those left to cherish his loving memory includes his siblings, Greg & Lynn Sexton of Delaware, OH, David & Cindy Sexton of Stuttgart, AK, Gary Spurlock of Switzer, WV, Connie Brown & Darrell Perkins of Huntington, WV, Terry & Kevin Lycans Garrett of Suwanee, GA, and Rebecca Estep of Switzer, WV; and a host of nieces and nephews who will all love and miss him.
In honoring his wishes, he has been cremated.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Wednesday, July 26th, 2023, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Collins Funeral Home, Inc. of Switzer, WV.
