Jerry Randell Luther

Jerry Randell Luther, 66 of Logan, WV departed this life Saturday, October 24th, 2020 at Logan Regional Medical Center. He was born July 20th, 1954 in Ethel, WV to John Wesley Luther and Eloise (Parsons) Luther. He graduated with an Associates Degree in Accounting.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, John Wesley Luther; wife, Cathy (White) Luther; and sister-in-law, Betty Luther.

Those left to cherish his loving memory includes his mother, Eloise Luther of Ethel, WV; one son, Mark Randell Luther and wife Laney; granddaughters, Marlee and Penelopy Luther all of Nitro, WV; brothers, Paul W. Luther of Huntington, WV, Ronald K. Luther of McConnell, WV, and Jon “Kevin” Luther and wife Teresa of Ethel, WV; sisters, Avonell George and husband Dan of Houston, TX, Teresa Townsend and husband Darrell of McConnell, WV; and many other beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Friday, October 30th, 2020 at Sunbeam Chapel with Rev. Dan George and Pastor Jim Fortune officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pecks Mill, WV.  A visitation will begin a hour prior at 12:00 pm. Collins Funeral Home Inc. of Switzer, WV is in charge of arrangements.
