Johannah Rose Barber
Our beloved Johannah Rose Barber entered into God’s Kingdom June 21, 2023 following a hard fought battle with numerous respiratory ailments.
Johannah was born on March 2, 2005, in Charleston, W.Va. Though small in stature her impact on the world was immense; her spirit will live on in the hearts and minds of countless family members, friends, educators, nurses and doctors that knew her.
Johnannah was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Roy and Imogene Elkins of Rossmore. Those left to carry on her memory include her Mother, Debra Barber of Rossmore, her trio of brothers Justin Barber of Shady Spring, Joshua Barber of Rossmore and Jonathan Barber of Rossmore. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
The light that Johannah brought to the world cannot be described by words alone. Her smile was infectious, her personality boundless, and her love never ending. The joy that she spread in her 18 years on this earth cannot be quantified.
Services will be held at Monahill Memorial Freewill Baptist Church on Monday, June 26th. A gathering of loved ones will begin at 12:00 pm and is to be followed by services at 2:00 pm. Pallbearer duties will be the honor of family and friends as well as her honorary pallbearer, Rick McCoy.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Collins Funeral Home, Inc. of Switzer, WV.
