Joyce “Dot” (Grimmett) Damron 83, of Holden, went home to be with the Lord Friday, March 30, 2018 in Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born July 19, 1934 in Logan to the Late Millard (Yap) Grimmett and Pansy “Nanny” (Varney) Eskee. She was a homemaker and member of the Monahill Memorial Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and her Husband Jennings Damron she was also preceded in death by one Daughter; Jenny Tothe, two Sons; Jimmy (Lippy) Damron and Little Jennings Damron, Three Sisters; Mildred Taylor, Joann Null and Charlene Widner. She is survived by one Son; Keith (Kandi) Damron of Holden. One Daughter; Debbie (Randy) Gill of Lake, WV and a Son in law Johnny Tothe of Holden, four Grandchildren; Mike (Patti) Tothe and Kris Tothe both of Holden, Erica (David) McCoy of Mudfork and Randy (Shanna) Clemons of Mt. Gay, Nine Great-Great Grandchildren; Hannah and Jill Tothe, Allysun and Payne McCoy and Piper, Trenedy, Destani, Phoenix and Kayla Clemons. Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Monahill Freewill Baptist with Brothers Joseph and Danny Vance officiating. Pallbearers will be, Johnny, Mike and Kris Tothe, Joseph Vance, Bruce Bryant and Rodney Morton. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be two hours prior to the services at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any of these charitable organizations; “Grand Cat Central”, “Paws Squad” or “S.A.F.E”.
