June A. Jenkins

June A. Jenkins went home to be with the Lord, Sunday January 7, 2018 at Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born on May 27, 1923 to the late John Curry and Lillian Andy Rebar. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, caregiver and friend to many. She loved the kids in her community as well as she loved her own. She had many jobs throughout her career and especially loved working at Guyan Valley Hospital with the many friends she made there. She was preceded in death by the love of her life; Mr. Shirley Jenkins, her parents, three brothers, infant brother Willie Curry, Raymond Curry and a brother who was like a son, Allen Michael (Mick) Rebar, three sisters; Jean Sorrell, Joyce Quillen, and Rosalie Martin and her son-in-law; Bill Wolfe. She is survived by two loving daughters; Sandra (Shelby) Bailey of Front Royal, VA and Christina (Bill) Wolfe of Omar, two sisters; Libby Rebar of Arlington and Linda Palmer of Falls Church VA, one brother; Keith Rebar of Omar, eight grandchildren; Todd (Marlene) Bailey of Leesburg, VA, Shannon Bailey of Front Royal, VA, Melissa (Scott) Krise of Winchester, VA, Lisa Bailey of Leesburg, VA, Michelle (Doug) Loar of Haywood, WV, Jennifer (Mark) Grimmell of Kearneysville, WV, David (Mitzi) Wolfe of Logan, WV and Joe (Leslie) Wolfe of Omar, WV, and seven-teen great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Friday, January 12, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Mark Vance officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will include grandsons and nephews. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. Collins Funeral Home of Switzer is overseeing the arrangements.
