Kay Ellis

Kay (Blankenship) Ellis, 76 of Ethel, WV departed this life Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at her residence. She was born November 6, 1943 in Holden, WV to the late Leonard Blankenship and Sylvia (Spry) Blankenship. She was of the Church of God faith. In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her husband: James “Tiny” Ellis, one son: James Ellis Jr., and one brother: Robert “Bobby” Blankenship. 

Those left to cherish her loving memory includes one son: Terry (Lydia) Ellis of Charleston, WV; one daughter: Sheila White of Logan, WV; four grandchildren: Briana White, Kiersten Ellis, Caleb Ellis, and Baylee Ellis all of Logan, WV and one great-grandson: Maddox Ellis also of Logan, WV.

A celebration of her life will be held between the family. Collins Funeral Home Inc. of Switzer, WV is assisting the family with arrangements.
