Konetta June Curry

Konetta June (Conley) Curry, 73 of Barnabus, WV went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Wednesday, July 28th, 2021, at her residence. She was born on April 19th, 1948, in Logan, WV to the late Keefer and Verda (Sargent) Conley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Jean Jacobs, Cora Conley, and Loki Conley; and one brother, Keefer “Peewee” Conley.

She was a mother figure to many, always making candy, quilts, and cakes for everyone. She was always willing to help anyone and was loved by everyone. She was a member of New Life Freewill Baptist Church for four years.

Those left to cherish her loving memory includes her husband of fifty-six years, Paul Curry; two sons, Paul Jr. (Cheryl) Curry and Steven (Donna) Curry; two brothers, Bill (Ruby) Conley and Delbert Conley; three grandchildren, Jessica (Aaron) Day, Justin Curry, and Jake Curry.

A visitation will be held 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday, July 30th, 2021, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, July 31st, 2021, at New Life Freewill Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers will include Aaron Day, Rodney Curry, Justin Curry, Jake Curry, Jamie Conley, and Dewayne Conley.
