Letha Mae Maynard

Letha Mae (Blankenship) Maynard 90, of Rossmore, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at her residence with her family by her side.  She was born July 28, 1926 in Pie, WV to the Late Andy and Effie (Ferrell) Blankenship.  She is of the Freewill Baptist Faith and was a Postmaster of Rossmore and Wilkinson for 34 years.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her late husband of Forty years; William Abe Maynard, two sons; Ronald Maynard and Dana Maynard, one grandson; Donald Williams, three sisters and two brothers. Those left to cherish her memories are two daughters; Eloise (Maynard) Collins of Chapmanville, Christina (Maynard) Evans of Rossmore and one son; John (Roberta) Maynard of Wilkinson, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, two sisters, one brother and a host of family and friends. She was a true Angel here on earth and everyone will miss her.    Services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 02, 2017 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. C.D. Wolford officiating.  Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be from 6 to 9 P.M. Sunday, January 01, 2017 at the Funeral Home.  Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.  Collins Funeral Home of Switzer is in charge of the arrangements.  Condolences may be left @ www.collinsfuneralhomewv.com./
