Linda Kay Bryant

Linda Kay Baisden Bryant 71, of Verdunville WV, passed away on Sunday morning February 23, 2020 at Logan Regional Medical Center. She wasborn April 23 1948 at Verdunville WV, Adaughter of the late Julius and Ruth Johnson Workman Baisden. She is also preceded in death by her beloved son JohnFranklin Bryant. Linda is survived by one daughter Vesta (Toots) Bryant Hensley (Alex Bo) ; one son Cody Bryant (Jasmine Adams) , one granddaughter Angel Bryant, three great daughters Kaylee Dotson ,Mika Adams, Johnica Adams. She is also survived by two brothers Byrd Workman (Malinda) of Okemah, OK and Richard Baisden (Patricia) of Harts WV, and three sisters Connie Marsh (Steve) of Madison, WV. Hester Hodges of Verdunville, WV and Kathy Carroll (Joe) of Wilkinson WV. Linda was a former school bus driver for the Logan County Board of Education, as well as a retired coal miner for Hobet Mining#21 in Boone County, WV. She was also a UMWA member. She was a spectacular mother, grandmother great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. Linda will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm -5 pm March 6th 2020 at Verdunville Church of God, Verdunville, WV. With Rev.Micheal Hartwell. Visitation will be held on March 5th 2020 at Verdunvile Church of God from 5pm - 8 pm burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Chapmanville, WV. Her body will be cremated.
