Loa M Boggs

Loa M. Boggs 64 of Mooresville, NC formerly of Duncan Fork, WV departed this life Feb 23, 2015 in Carolinas Medical Center.  He was born October 31, 1950 in Bruno, WV to the late Raymond and Vanchie (Ellis) Boggs.  He was retired from UPS where he worked for 22 years and then worked 9 years for Walmart. After retirement he enjoyed his family, friends and his love of the game of golf.  He was a dedicated husband to the late Sally Jo (Hatfield) Boggs for 38 years. He was a loving father to his three children; William (Trish) Boggs of Sarah Ann, Nokomis (Luke) Bailey of Catawba, NC, and Samantha (Brian) Baisden of Madison.  He dedicated his heart to his four grandchildren; Jessica (Adam) Lewis, Jacob and Joshua Bailey and Zachary Boggs, and two great-grandchildren; Landon and Dalton Lewis. He is also survived by three sisters; June Smith of Columbus, OH, Kathryn Buryn of St. Louis, MO and Debra Ellis of Chapmanville along with a host of nieces and nephews.   In addition to his parents, grandparents and wife he is also preceded in death by three sisters; Narrine, Marie and Christine and one brother; Oley.  Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the Collins Funeral Home Chapel with James Ed Baisden officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ooten Family Cemetery at Myrtle, WV. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 PM Monday, March 02, 2015 at the Funeral Home. Collins Funeral Home of Switzer is in charge of the services.  Condolences may be left @ www.collinsfuneralhomewv.com.
