Lois Ann Maynard

Lois Ann Maynard, 76 of Chauncey, WV went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Monday, April 17^th, 2023, at Boone Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 9^th, 1946, in Logan, WV and was the daughter of the late Howard and Ruby (Moore) Ellis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her in laws, Wallace, and Marie Maynard; and grandparents, George, and Bertha Thompson.

Lois was a third-grade teacher at Logan Elementary for thirty-four years. She was also a member of the Logan Church of The Nazarene in Logan, WV.

Those left to cherish her loving memory includes her spouse of fifty-five years, Larry Maynard of Chauncey, WV; one son, Chris (Martha) Maynard of Forest, VA; three grandchildren, Christopher Maynard II, Matthew Maynard, and Andrew Maynard.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm, Friday, April 21^st. 2023 at Logan Church of The Nazarene in Logan, WV. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Chapmanville, WV. Pallbearers will include Daniel Morgan, Ray Herndon, Bill Smith, and her grandsons.

A visitation will be held at the church from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Thursday, April 20^th, 2023, also at the church.
