Loraine "Tootsie" Brown

Loraine “Tootsie” (McCloud) Brown 71, of Boiling Springs, SC, departed this life Thursday, September 8, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Dingess, WV to the late Garland and Hazel (Collins) McCloud. She was a homemaker and a retired factory manufacturer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandparents; one son, Leonard Brown Jr.; three brothers, Infant Freddie McCloud, Jennings “Jigs” McCloud, and Frelin Todd McCloud; one sister, Cora Church; and three late grandchildren. Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Leonard Brown; one daughter, Denise (Timothy) Chipps of Dayton, OH; two brothers, Rinnie (Lana) McCloud and Dennis (Karen) McCloud both of Logan; three sisters, Edie McCloud of LordsTown, OH, Sylvia (Bo) Baisden and Teresa (Rick) Nelson both of Logan. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 12, 2016 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at McCloud Cemetery in Dingess. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Collins Funeral Home of Switzer is in charge of arrangements.
