Louise Baisden, 89, of Wilkinson, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, May 3, 2024, at Logan Regional Medical Center. Born January 11, 1935, in Monaville, she was a daughter of the late Paris and Dessie Vance McCoy. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Baisden; three sisters, Edna Fields, Opal Lewis, and Sylvia Craddock, and two brothers, John, and Donald McCoy.
She was a homemaker and bookkeeper of her late husband's business, Logan Pest Control since March of 1967. Louise was a faithful Christian that loved to spend time with her family and travel the country. She was a former historian for the Logan County Genealogical Society.
Survivors include one daughter; Connie (Buddy) Dempsey of Delbarton, two grandsons; Billy and Ricky Dempsey both of Delbarton, and a host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly and always enjoyed their conversations. She was grateful for her caretaker, Diana Picklesimer, extended family, and loving neighbors.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2024, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joseph Vance officiating. Services will be 12:00 P.M., Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joseph Vance officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
