Lula Mae Clark

April 18, 1919 — March 20, 2016

Lula Mae Clark 96, of Omar, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 20, 2016 in Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born April 18, 1919 in Virginia to the late Dora (Tomilison) Gibson. She was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her family and going to Church with them at the Omar Community Church.  In addition to her mother and grandparents she is preceded in death by her husband Chester Clark, one son; Justin Clark, two sisters; Audrey and Fern and a great-granddaughter Ashley Bias.  Those left to cherish her memories are her children; Douglas (Rosa) Clark of Micco, Darrell (Darlene) Clark of OH, Rita (Thomas) Waller of OH, Glenda (Darrell) Bias of Omar, Betty (Mike) Esklin of OH, Eula Curry of OH, Lee (Janet) Clark of Omar, Chester Allen (Thelma) Clark of Omar, Kathy (Timothy) Woodruff of Omar, Roger (Gwen) Clark of Chapmanville, 29 Grandchildren , 52 Great-grandchildren, a host of great-great-grandchildren and Connie Clark  Cooke  a special daughter-in-law who helped care for her.  Service will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the Omar Community Church with her son Pastor Allen Clark and Rev. Jimmy Meade officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery @ Pecks Mill.  Visitation will be from 6 to 9 P.M Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the church.  Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Collins Funeral Home of Switzer is in charge of the arrangements.
