Mack Dave Curry

Mack Dave Curry 45, of Friendly, WV formerly of Chapmanville passed away at home Friday, September 25, 2015.  His was a disabled coalminer of Brody Mining. He enjoyed spending time with his grandson and listening to his daughter sing, hunting and fishing with his son and spending special times with his loving wife. He was born December 18, 1969 in Williamson, WV to Everett and Katherine (Hall) Curry of Delbarton.   He is preceded in death by his Grandparents; Greenway and Louise (Vernatter) Curry and Rush Hall, father-in-law; Dan Hensley, special sister in-law; Thelma Hensley, special nephew and niece William Mullins and Alexandria Herrick.  He is survived by his Wife of 22 years; Ladena (Hensley) Curry of Friendly, one son; Chad Allen (Talena) Curry of Chapmanville, one daughter; Donica Curry of Friendly, one grandson that he loved dearly; Gunner Allen Curry, one brother; Jack (Nancy) Curry of Delbarton, four sisters; Cassandra (William) Mullins, Lynn (Rocky) Church, Betty (Robert) Hammond, Katie (James) Herrick all of Delbarton, his mother-in-law; Donna Hensley, Special grandmother; Elizabeth Calloway, brother-in-law’s;  Daniel Hensley of Chapmanville and Chad (Amanda) Hensley of Pike, OH, special mentioned; Justin Wood who he thought of like a son, special friends Melissa Farmer and Eddie and Lesa Lester and a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 02, 2015 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Noah Chafin officiating.  Burial will follow in Hensley Family Cemetery at Mud Fork.  Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 PM Thursday, October 01, 2015 at the funeral home.
