Marcella (Long) Taylor

Marcella (Long) Taylor, 71 of Reynoldsburg, Ohio (formally of Logan, WV) departed this life on Saturday, August 27th, 2022, at St. Ann’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on March 27th, 1951, in Logan, WV to the late Benny Long Sr. and Ella Christine (Bradsher) Long. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Taylor; her mother-in-law; two brothers, Benny and Dorsey Long.
Those left to cherish her loving memory includes one son, Ellis Taylor III of Columbus, Ohio; one daughter, Eleesha Taylor of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; six grandchildren, Darius, Jaden, Ellis, Elissa, Laila, and Trinity; a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends; special friends, Diane Jones and Gwen Milsap; and Goddaughter, Breonna Kennedy.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, September 3rd, 2022, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Guyan Memory Gardens in Godby, WV. Pallbearers will include nephews, grandsons, and her son.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.
Repass will be held at St. Phillips Missionary Baptist Church at Cora, WV.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Collins Funeral Home Inc. of Switzer, WV.
