Mashawna Monique Patton

Mashawna Monique Ross Patton was born Friday, December 21, 1973, at Guyan Valley Hospital, in Logan, West Virginia. She was the daughter of the union of Teresa Ann Harrison and George Ross, Sr. Mashawna was a 1992 graduate of Logan High School. She furthered her education at Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College, earning certification in nursing in 2003. She was employed with Logan General Hospital.

Mashawna was a caring and lovely person. She was a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She loved her family more than anything, especially her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Our beloved Mashawna M. Patton was called from labor to eternal rest on Thursday, November 12, 2020. She was predeceased by her husband, Adrian Fitzgerald Patton, Sr.; mother, Teresa Ann Harrison Ross; grandmothers, Dorothy Harrison and Cora Brooks; and uncles, William Brooks and Frank Reid.

Loving memories are cherished by her father, George (LaDonna Thompson) Ross; daughter, Mahagoni J. Patton; son, Adrian Fitzgerald Patton II; grandson, Fitzgerald S. Murphy; brothers, George Ross II and Marcus (Holly) Ross; step-daughter, Brittany N. Patton; step-granddaughters, Allezaha H. Adkins and Sophia L. Adkins; step-sisters, Lashayla Brooke Thompson and Tymaure Katrina Thompson; uncles, Kenneth Ross and his companion, Virginia Christy, and Larry (Sue) Brooks; aunts, Gloria J. Reid and Maryland (Michael) Jones; nieces and nephews, Memphis A. Ross, Seagram J. Jemenson, and Keishmon L. Coats; like a son, Damion White; other family members and many friends.
