Maude Sue "Susie" Gollihue

Maude Sue “Susie” Gollihue, 67, of Sarah Ann, WV, departed this life Saturday, March 28th, 2020 at her residence.  She was born on June 21st, 1952 in Logan, WV, the daughter of the late Roy and Dorothy Funk.  She was also proceeded in death by her husband, Larry F. Gollihue; sister, Lillian “Lilly” Mae Dehart; and nephew, Ryan Funk.

Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons, Larry F. “Peewee” Gollihue, Jr. of Sarah Ann and Dennis (Stephanie) Gollihue of Whites Addition; two sisters, Patricia “Pat” (Ronnie) McBroom of Sarah Ann and Goldie “Peanut” Messer of Ohio; three brothers, Roy “Tunk” Funk of Ohio, Orville “Bub” (Char) Funk of Ohio and Carl “Tom Toe” Funk of Sarah Ann; five grandchildren, Brooke Gollihue of Huntington, Ashlee Gollihue of Sarah Ann, Dennis Gollihue II, Adam Gollihue and Jacob “Jake” Gollihue all of Whites Addition and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 31st, 2020 from 6-9pm at Collins Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 1st, 2020 at noon at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.  Due to current public health concerns, please use your best judgement about attending.  If you feel ill or are concerned, you may leave online condolences for the family.  Collins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
