Michael David (Psycho) Adkins, 49 of Cross Lanes, WV formerly of Holden departed this life Thursday July 16th, 2020 at Thomas Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV. He was born December 13th, 1970 in Logan to the late Elva Darrell Adkins (Bucky) of Chapmanville and Betty Lou Lambert Bronz of Holden. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his step father, Thomas Bronze; his grandparents, William (Bill) and Margie Lambert of Holden; and Denver and Anna Jean Adkins.
Michael was a disabled coal miner who loved to fish, camp, handle roosters, train, shoe, ride, and break horses and spending time with family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory includes his two daughters, Auttumn (Patrick) Adkins of Wilkinson, WV and Malayiah Adkins of Cross Lanes; one sister, Johnetta Bronz of Holden; two aunts, Josie Lambert Curry of Holden and Zella Lambert Sumpter of SC formerly of Whitman; two grandsons; Malik (Meeky) and Josiah (JoeJoe) Workman of Delbarton; one granddaughter, Paisleigh Willo Adkins of Wilkinson; one niece, Geryka Stoneoff; nephew, Alex Bronz; and his girlfriend, Xzambria (Bootsie) Bryant; several close cousins, Barbara Vance of FL, William Sumpter (Spoon) of Whitman, Tammy Sumpter Farley of Charleston, Tresa Sumpter of Pecks Mill, and Nathan (Cassie Adams) Curry of Holden and a host of other cousins, family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on 1:00 pm Friday, July 24th, 2020 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Shane Dennison officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will include his close family and friends. A visitation will be held a hour prior.
