Mildred Mae Curnutte, 85, of Logan, WV, passed away on February 7, 2025, at her residence. She was born on May 9, 1939, in Logan County, West Virginia. The daughter of the late Samuel Jay Curnutte and Virginia Curnutte. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Samuel Jay Curnutte, Jr., Everett Lafe Curnutte, Larry Grant Curnutte; and nephew, Jeffrey Allen Curnutte.

Throughout her life, she found joy in reading books. She enjoyed playing games on the computer. Additionally, Mildred enjoyed watching television. Cooking was another of Mildred's great loves; she took immense pride in preparing meals for her family.

Those left to cherish her loving memory includes her three sisters, Diana (John) May, Ernestine (Dean) Douglas, and Judith (Andrew) Mullins; brother, John T. Curnutte; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Barney Goins officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pecks Mill, WV. Pallbearers will include her nephews.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Collins Funeral Home, Inc. of Switzer, WV.
