Nathaniel David Vance

Nathaniel David Vance, 69, of Chauncey, WV departed this life on Thursday, February 23^rd, 2023, at Logan Regional Medical Center. He was born on December 5^th, 1953, in Logan, WV to the late William “Press” and Ferba “Ferbie” (Kirk) Vance. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Sue (Talbert) Vance; two brothers, Phillip, and Larry Vance; and stepmother, Estelle Vance.

David was the owner of W&D Mine Service and Zener Mine Service. He enjoyed playing his guitar and taking care of his garden.

Those left to cherish his loving memory includes his four daughters, Renee Wall of Chauncey, WV, Stephanie Trammell of Charleston, WV, Carla (Dr.Chris) Flanagan of Elk View, WV, and Amanda (Andy) Booth of Logan, WV; one sister, Geraldine Adkins of Omar, WV; grandchildren, Wesley Wall, Victoria Wall, Taylor Napier, Chelsea Napier, David Chase Trammell, Rikki Trammell, and Caden Dotson; one great granddaughter whom is soon to be here, Madelyn Jane; special nephews, Frankie (Billie) Adkins, and Douglas (Andrea) Adkins; special niece, Leslie (Jo) Mileto; special friend, Scott Dotson; and a host of family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 1^st, 2023, at Walnut Grove Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Matt Dameron officiating. Inurnment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Chapmanville, WV.

Friends may gather with the family one hour prior to the funeral service.
