Oather Kenneth "Bud" Baisden Sr.

Oather Kenneth “Bud” Baisden Sr.  71 of Sarah Ann Went home to be with the Lord Tuesday March 03, 2015.  He was born August 05, 1943 in Logan to the late James Boyd and Gertrude (Thornhill) Baisden.  He was an avid believer in God, a mechanic that enjoyed working on vehicles, fishing, racing hunting and the outdoors but most of all enjoyed spending his time with his wife, children, grandchildren, family and friends.   In addition to his parents and grandparents he is also preceded in death by two brothers; Robert and Claude Baisden and three sisters; Ethel Carey, Sarah Baldwin and Dorothy Williams.  Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife and best friend Ang (Ellis) Baisden, five sons; Oather “Big Budro” (Debbie) Baisden Jr. of Stirrat, Steve Baisden of Sarah Ann, Jimmy (Martha) Baisden of McConnell, Carl Dale (Christi) Baisden of Peach Creek and Allen Baisden of Sarah Ann, two daughters; Kim (Josh) Curry of Omar and Marie Woodruff of Huntington, three sisters; Juanita (Sam) Lucas of SC, Lena May (Gene) of FL and Edna (Ike) Ellis of Bluefield eight grandchildren; Budro Kenneth Baisden having three sons Brock,  Braxton, and Bryson, Micheal Baisden, Kashanna Lynn Mckinney having one son and two daughters Thomas, Skylar and Riley, Cody (Arri) Baisden having one daughter; Stacia, Hayli Brooke Baisden, Taryn Jo Baisden, Julie Cook and Hope Cook, his best friend Danny Callaway and host of other family and friends that will miss him dearly.   Service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, March 07, 2015 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Hicks officiating.  Burial will follow in Chauncey Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 PM Friday, March 06 at the Funeral Home.
