Odell Fleming, 88 of Switzer, WV departed this world for a celebratory meeting with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 01, 2014. She was a loving and devoted Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. Waiting to welcome her and begin an eternal celebration are her husband; Rev. Hobert Fleming, Granddaughter; Brandi N. Fleming, Parents; Ezra and Anna May ( Easterling ) McGuire, Son-in-Law; Charles “Chuck” Clemons, one Sister, six Brothers and several Friends. Those left to cherish her life and carry on the love she showed to all are her Daughters, Linda (Jackie) Vance of Barnabus, WV, Anna Lynn (Joe) Aloia of Bayshore, NY, Sherrie (Jamie) Jones of Cross Lanes, WV, Kenny (Shelia) Fleming of Switzer, WV, Two Sisters; Bonnie Himes of Crossville, TN, and Betty (Jim) Weber of Carlsbad, CA, Eight Grandchildren, Twelve Great-Grandchildren, and One Great-Great-Grandson and her best friend of Seventy plus years , Edith Evans, along with many Nieces, Nephews and other friends. She may be gone but her love will continue to live on in those that she loved. A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel from 6 to 8 PM. Services will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Tennis Vance & Rev. Robert Nelson officiating. In honoring her wishes she will be cremated and entered at Forest Lawn Cemetery in a private ceremony at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family respectively requests donations to be made to Switzer Freewill Baptist Church Switzer, WV 25647 or Micco Hillcrest Freewill Baptist Church food pantry in c/o Robert Nelson 10 Vaughan St. Logan, WV 25601.
